אילן נולד ב-כ"ט בנובמבר 1985 בנחל עוז, להוריו נורית ויהודה, אח ל - קרן, שוהם, גיללי, עודד ויפעת.

אילן היה ספורטאי בנשמתו - שחקן ואוהד כדורגל וכדורסל. תמיד היה מקובל ואהוב מאוד בקרב חבריו, ראה את הטוב בכולם.

אילן הכיר את שרון כשהגיעה לגור בנחל עוז, התאהבו והחליטו לבנות את ביתם.
נולדו להם שלוש בנות - נעם, ליבי ודורון.

אילן כיהן כסגן רבש"ץ, ובשנת 2015 התמנה לרבש"ץ.
בתפקיד זה כיהן עד הרצחו כ- 7 שנים - באומץ, במקצועיות, בנעימות, בצניעות, ברצינות, בקור רוח וללא ויתורים. היה הרבש"ץ הכי מעוטר באזור.

אהבתו הגדולה היתה קבוצת "מכבי תל-אביב".

אילן נרצח בבוקרו של השבעה באוקטובר 2023 לאחר שהציל את אריאל זהר ונלחם בעוז רוח וגבורה עילאית במרצחים בני העוולה.
אילן יחסר בנוף הקיבוצי של נחל עוז, כפנים המחייכות, מזמינות, מסייעות, מרגיעות בכל עת.

Ilan Fiorentino was born on November 29, 1985, at Kibbutz Nahal Oz, to his parents Nurit and Yehuda. He was the brother of Keren, Shoham, Gilli, Oded, and Yifat.
Ilan was a true athlete at heart, a passionate player and fan of both football and basketball. He was always loved and admired by his friends and had a unique ability to see the good in everyone.
Ilan met Sharon when she moved to Kibbutz Nahal Oz. They fell in love and chose to build their home together in the kibbutz. They had three daughters: Noam, Libi, and Doron.
Ilan served as deputy security coordinator of the kibbutz, and in 2015 he was appointed as the head security coordinator (Ravshatz). He held this position for approximately seven years until his murder.
In this role, Ilan demonstrated courage, professionalism, calmness, humility, dedication, and unwavering commitment. He carried out his responsibilities with exceptional composure and never compromised on the safety of the community. He was the most decorated security coordinator in the region.
One of Ilan's greatest passions was his beloved football club, Maccabi Tel Aviv.
On the morning of October 7, 2023, Ilan was murdered after saving Ariel Zohar and fighting with extraordinary courage and bravery against the terrorists who attacked Kibbutz Nahal Oz.
Ilan will be deeply missed in the landscape of Kibbutz Nahal Oz, as a smiling, welcoming, supportive, and reassuring presence who was always there for others.
