Attended the Nova festival and was kidnapped by Hamas on the 7th of Oct 23 near the. On 30th Oct 23 found evidence that proofed that Shani was killed still in Isarel. On 17th May 24 Shani's body was found in the Gaza-tunnels and returned for burial

Shani was born in Jerusalem and lived most of her life in her parents' house in Srigim.
Her mother was German and Shani also had a German passport and a special connection to Germany.
Shani was a beautiful and vibrant girl, creative and independent, with a big and compassionate heart. She lived with friends in Tel Aviv and worked as a tattoo artist. Shani loved art, music, dance, fashion design and sewing, traveling, languages and other cultures. In the past year, she used to fly to Mexico with her Mexican boyfriend Orion.
Shani wrote the lyrics to the song 'Home' which says "The day is over, I feel like going home. But I don't have a sword and a shield and I don't feel like fighting..." Shani's friend, Elia Bernoy, composed the music for the song.
After that terrible day, we set up an exhibition at the Tel Aviv Museum 'Nachum Gutman' that displays some of her artwork.
